The city of Arad undertook a series of public interventions to improve the sustainability of its urban transport system. Its tram infrastructure was completely revamped, climate-friendly buses were procured and its cycle network was further extended to the cross-border region. The measures boosted citizens’ interest in public transport and decreased GHG emissions.
Transport
