This measure would run from 2020 until 2029, and would be implemented through supporting municipalities and cities buying buses that either reaches higher emission standards, are Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) or electric. The central government would support public procurement of greener busses by covering up to 20% of the cost. While 20% support is rather small, there are some signs that municipalities are interested in using this policy.
