Is the cooperation between local authorities and Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) good enough in Poland?

"As a social activist who started working in local government, I believe that cooperation needs to be improved. First of all, we need to work on how to properly involve civil society in the decision-making process. For instance, many Polish civil society organizations have great experience in climate and energy issues but they don't have a strong voice in the public debate. It is important to gather all stakeholders around one table to ensure that Polish energy and climate commitments are ambitious. It is key to have processes in place, like roundtables or working groups, where we can share experiences to stimulate cooperation between regions and to scale up good local and regional initiatives for a better future for Poland."
